The main event of The Blue Plate is of course our restaurant. The brainchild of our own professional chef and co owner Simon, The Blue Plate has delivered a next level dining experience to the area of Downderry for many years. Serving everything from the finest of just-caught seafood to quality locally-sourced meats, the Blue Plate is a culinary delight with something to suit everyone. From a once empty shop to a now bustling restaurant/bar/deli, the Blue Plate proudly sits at the heart of the village, delivering a consistently high dining standard to our regulars and newcomers alike.

Due to the coast being merely seconds away, The Blue Plate can get very busy at a moments notice – especially in the summer months.
